The opposite of talking isn't listening. The opposite of talking is waiting. - Fran Levowitz
Hi and welcome!
I tend to get wordy, but here's the world's fastest introduction to me:
I am an almost entirely self taught programmer that worked at Northrop Grumman for about 9 years doing cryptography, mobile, and embedded development. I went to Iraq twice, once for two months and once for one year, to install and train the military on a project that I helped create.
Once I returned, I moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. I applied to and was accepted for admittance into the Software Development program at the Guildhall at SMU. While there, I created a ton of really cool stuff and focused my interests while expanding my abilities, graduating with a Certificate in Digital Game Development in May of 2009.
After that I went to work for Edge of Reality in Austin, Texas, followed up by Obsidian Entertainment in Irvine, California.
My primary area of interest is in systems programming; threading, I/O, memory management, and the really fun stuff of cache coherency, pipelining, etc. I currently work for Obsidian Entertainment in Irvine, California, as a Core Technical Group programmer (engine stuff.)
So far, I've worked on Dragon Age (Edge of Reality), Fallout: New Vegas (Obsidian Entertainment), and Dungeon Siege III (Obsidian Entertainment).
I hope you find what you need here, and if you have any suggestions, I'm always willing to learn and expand my knowledge.
